"I decided I needed some coaching when my career quite suddenly came to a crossroads three years ago. I had carried out a demanding role leading 1000 people for 4 years which left me little time for myself, and suddenly a reorganisation coupled with winning a new contract saw me in a new temporary role - at less than a week's notice - 100 miles down the motorway. What did I really want to do? What should my next move be? How could I reconcile the demands of family and career? I thought that coaching would help, and my HR director agreed and set up the contact with Denise".
The Coaching Relationship: Throughout the relationship we worked through a series of activities to identify the client's criteria for any new role/job. This involved identifying work values, motivation traits, developing a clear vision, looking at life experiences to clarify strengths and development needs.
Outcome: Promoted into a high profile senior position in the organisation
